Habari ndugu! That’s Swahili for ‘Hi!’
My name is Zakaria Mwita. I live in central Tanzania, in a town called Singida. I have a wife, Flo, of whom you are bound to hear much about in this blog, and two children, Keren and Joe.
Welcome to my blog. The message in this blog is “Jesus Christ, and him crucified” (1 Cro. 2:2). The sincere message of the Cross of Jesus Christ, brought forth in the spirit of revelation, has the power to deliver fallen humanity from the power of sin.
Not many today are willing to hear the truth of the gospel because that truth will require them to give up the pleasures of this world. The words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy in 2 Tim. 4:3-4 could hardly be truer in our day: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables”.
